ZFS Featured in
solaris11
Zones concept was introduced in first
solaris10 update6. Root FS is under ZFS by
default in solaris11.
It replaces entirely UFS. It brings many benefits, mirror the
root pool in ZFS, robust pool recovery……

Root pools can be mirrored after installation.
